Long Arm Certification Class
Curious about learning to longarm? Give it a try!
he beginning Long Arm Class is $65 per person. There can be up to two people on each machine, in this hands-on class and includes a lunch break.
Once you’ve taken the class, you can use our longarm to quilt your quilts.
In the class you will learn how to load your quilt and the basics of using the machine, such as bringing up the thread from the bottom, starting and ending. You will learn to use the machine to do computerized edge-to-edge quilting.
By the end of class you will be able to quilt an all-over design on your own quilt.
Once you’ve taken the basic Long Arm Certification Class, we invite you to rent our long arm machine by the hour and get those quilt tops made into quilts!
To rent the machine you will need to purchase a longarm machine rental kit: which includes one set of leader zippers, a bobbin case for the Q series machines, and bobbins (5 pack).
The machine rents for $25/hour. The fee use of our edge-to-edge patterns. You may purchase a specific edge-to-edge pattern of your choice, which we will load on the machine for you. It will need to be in a bqm format. Machine rental is by appointment.
