Patchwork Applique Table Runner

Add a touch of charm to your table with this unique table runner measuring 12-1/2in x 53in.  Elevate your decor with sunflowers, pumpkins, maple leaves, apples, or patriotic stars using your favorite fabric scraps. Designed by Jennifer Bosworth of Shabby Fabrics, it combines patchwork and applique techniques for a one-of-a-kind look.

Supplies needed:

Pattern

Tissue paper

Applique foot (Clear or open toe)

Paper backed fusible, ie Heat n Bond lite, Steam a Seam, Soft Fuse, Hot Fix

Invisavil Thread (100wt) Monofilament clear thread or matching thread

Fabric:

Scraps, no less than 2-1/2" square totaling about 2/3 yards of various colors depending on pattern chosen

3/4 yard Background

3/8 yard for binding and sashing

18"x58" for backing
