Description
Struggling to keep the points on your Flying Geese? While making the quilt above, I was introduced to the Wing Clipper Ruler from Studio 180  by a fantastic quilting friend.  (She's a fantastic piecer, quilter and friend)
In this technique class, Learn how to use the Wing Clipper ruler.  It is a wonderful tool designed to quickly and easily trim down Flying Geese units of any size for any Flying Geese quilt. Wing Clipper 1 is great for the 10 most common sizes of flying geese and Wing Clipper 2 for the sizes in-between. Step-by-step instructions take you through the process of constructing an oversized flying goose and trimming it to the perfect size with these tools.
I'll also have some tips and tricks to help you with the ruler.  If they work for you, be sure to use them.  If not, then stay on what works best for you.
Can you make flying geese without a Wing Clipper?  Sure, but this takes a lot more brain power and concentration when not using the Wing Clipper.
$15 for the class.
We will be sewing during this technique class so you will need a sewing machine in good working order.  Need a machine, let us know and we will have one to lend you set up for the class.
